Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to rent a porta potty?
It depends on the delivery address, the unit and the service schedule, so every quote is itemized. Real examples from recent calls: $249 for a standard unit for a weekend event (Friday delivery and Monday pickup included); $247.20 for the first 28 days on a construction site, then $205 per 4-week period and $29 removal, with weekly cleaning; $2,500 for a two-stall restroom trailer for an event. See the full pricing guide.
Do I have to pay for a full month if I only need it for a day or a weekend?
No. Ask for an event rental. One-day, weekend and several-day needs are quoted as a single event price, not a daily or monthly rate. A one-day rental may arrive the day before and be picked up the next business day. Ongoing construction and property rentals are billed in 28-day cycles. Short-term rental details.
Does the price include delivery and pickup?
It depends on the quote, which is why we itemize it. Some event prices include delivery and pickup; some ongoing rentals have a delivery fee on the first cycle and a separate removal fee at the end (for example, $73 delivery or $29 removal). Your written quote states exactly what is included.
What is the soonest you can deliver?
We check your ZIP code, date, available units and the driver schedule while you are on the phone. Earlier-than-quoted delivery is sometimes possible—in one call the first open date was Wednesday and dispatch moved it up—but it isn’t automatic. Deliveries run 8:00 AM–6:00 PM.
Can you deliver at a specific time or at night?
Delivery follows the driver’s route, so we take a time-of-day preference (such as “morning”) and pass it to dispatch, but we don’t guarantee an exact hour. Night delivery is not guaranteed. If your event has a fixed start time, book delivery the day before.
How often is a porta potty cleaned?
Ongoing standard rentals are commonly serviced once a week: pump-out, interior cleaning, fresh deodorizer and paper restock. A lightly used property can request a custom schedule—one customer chose once-monthly cleaning at $199/month—but we recommend weekly service during the Valley’s hot months because odor builds faster in heat.
Does the sink unit need a water hookup from me?
No. Our standard toilet with an internal sink and our deluxe flushable unit carry their own water. Only restroom trailers need a site water connection (a garden-hose bib) and 110-volt power.
Is a wheelchair-accessible porta potty the same as an ADA-compliant one?
Not necessarily, and we treat them as separate options. A wheelchair-accessible unit (PolyJohn Comfort XL) has ground-level entry and a 32″ door. An ADA-compliant unit (PolyJohn We’ll Care III or Satellite Freedom) is built to the ADA turning-space and grab-bar requirements. If a venue, permit or contract says “ADA,” ask for the ADA-compliant model. Compare them.
How many porta potties do I need for 100 guests?
For a 4–5 hour event with 100 guests and no alcohol, plan on 2 standard units. If alcohol is served, add exactly 1 more (3 total). Make one of them accessible if the event is public. Use the calculator for other headcounts and durations.
How many toilets does a Texas construction site need?
Texas job sites follow federal OSHA rule 29 CFR 1926.51: one toilet for 20 or fewer workers, and one toilet seat plus one urinal for every 40 workers above that (one per 50 at 200 or more). A standard unit has a seat and a urinal. OSHA also says a toilet only counts if it is kept sanitary, so service matters as much as the count. Construction rental details.
What if my project runs longer than a month?
The rental simply continues into the next 28-day billing cycle at the recurring rate (for example, $205 or $199 in the quotes above). Confirm the extension rate when you book, and call us when you are ready for removal.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancel more than 24 hours before the scheduled delivery for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours of delivery are non-refundable. If a payment hold was placed when you reserved, released funds can take a few days to appear. Full rental terms.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, we accept credit cards. You can request a quote by phone or online, review it, and call back to book—subject to availability at that time. We can also send the quote by text or email.
Where should the porta potty be placed?
You choose a practical spot and tell us—for example, behind a building near the back doors, or beside a parking area. It should be level and reachable by our service truck. An onsite contact can guide the driver. Placement checklist.
What areas do you serve?
Brownsville and the rest of Cameron County (Harlingen, San Benito, Los Fresnos, Port Isabel, South Padre Island), Hidalgo County (McAllen, Edinburg, Mission, Pharr, Weslaco, Alamo) and Willacy County (Raymondville). See all areas.
What are your hours?
Office 6:00 AM–8:00 PM; phones 8:00 AM–7:00 PM for quotes, booking and service requests; deliveries and servicing 8:00 AM–6:00 PM. Weekend deliveries, pickups and servicing can be scheduled in advance; holiday service by prior arrangement. Online quote requests are accepted 24/7.
Do I just call you back to book?
Yes. Request a quote, review it, and call back to book—subject to availability at that time. We can text or email the quote.
Who handles problems during my rental?
We do. Our own crew owns, delivers and cleans the equipment and handles issues such as a tipped unit, a missed service or a relocation.
