Rental Terms & Cancellation Policy
1. Who we are
Gary Rental Works – Brownsville Porta Potty Rentals (“we,” “us”), 3101 E 14th St, Brownsville, TX 78521, (956) 396-3637, rents portable sanitation equipment. We own, deliver, service and remove the equipment; we do not sell it.
2. Quotes and booking
- Quotes are based on the delivery address, dates, equipment, quantity and service schedule you give us, and are subject to availability when you book.
- Each quote states what is included—rental period, delivery, pickup or removal, service visits and tax. Charges not listed on your quote are not included.
- A booking is confirmed once we have verified the driver and equipment schedule and you have provided payment details.
3. Payment
- We accept credit cards.
- A payment authorization (hold) may be placed when you reserve. If a hold is released, your bank may take a few days to show the released funds.
- Event rentals are charged as quoted. Ongoing rentals are billed at the start of each 28-day cycle.
4. Rental periods, renewal and extensions
- Event rentals (single-day, weekend, several days) are priced as a package for the dates quoted. Units are often delivered before the event and collected afterward—for weekend events, typically Friday delivery and Monday pickup; holidays can move pickup to the next business day.
- Ongoing rentals are billed in 28-day cycles, not calendar months, and renew automatically at the recurring rate until you request removal.
- To extend an event rental, contact us before the scheduled pickup; extensions depend on availability and are confirmed with the rate.
5. Cancellation and refunds
- Cancel more than 24 hours before the scheduled delivery: full refund.
- Cancel within 24 hours of the scheduled delivery: non-refundable.
- To cancel an ongoing rental, request removal; the current 28-day cycle is not refunded unless your written agreement says otherwise.
6. Delivery, placement and access
- You choose a safe, level placement location that our truck can reach and give us placement instructions, gate codes and an onsite contact.
- Delivery follows our driver route between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. We will try to honor a time-of-day preference but do not guarantee an exact time or night delivery.
- You are responsible for any permits or approvals needed to place equipment on public property, streets, sidewalks, or where an HOA, venue or landlord requires approval.
- If we cannot access the unit on a scheduled service or pickup day (locked gate, blocked path), the visit may be missed or rescheduled, and a return trip may be charged if stated on your quote.
7. Servicing
Service frequency is written into your quote—commonly weekly for ongoing standard rentals, or a custom schedule. Service includes pumping, cleaning, deodorizing and restocking supplies. Additional service visits can be requested and are quoted before they are scheduled.
8. Care of equipment, damage and loss
- Equipment remains our property. Do not move, tip, relocate or alter units; ask us to relocate them.
- You are responsible for loss, theft, vandalism, fire and damage beyond normal wear while equipment is at your site, and for costs caused by misuse (for example, items that must be removed from a tank).
- Report tipped, damaged or overfull units promptly; we will schedule a service or replacement.
9. Restroom trailers
Trailers require the site to provide the utilities stated on your quote (for our two-stall trailer, a garden-hose water connection and 110-volt power) and level truck access. We may be unable to set up a trailer if those conditions are not met at delivery.
10. Weather and changes
If weather or site conditions make delivery, service or pickup unsafe, we will reschedule to the next available route. Date changes are subject to availability; changes within 24 hours of delivery are treated under the cancellation terms above.
11. Contact
