Short answer: one organizer of a two-day festival asked for about 12 toilets, 3 hand-washing stations and an extra service visit during the event. For a festival, size by peak attendance, split units into clusters with at least one accessible unit each, and schedule service between days.

Start with peak attendance
Use the number of people on site at the busiest hour, not total tickets. For 900 people at peak during a 4-hour afternoon block with alcohol, our method gives a baseline of 12 → add 3 for alcohol = 15 units. Without alcohol, 12—matching the request above.
Clusters and accessibility
- Two or three clusters so nobody walks across the whole venue.
- At least 1 accessible unit per cluster (ADA §213.2: 5%, minimum 1).
- 1 hand-wash station per 10 toilets, and always near food.
Servicing a two-day event
Book an additional service visit between days: pump-out, clean, restock paper, soap and sink water. It’s written into the custom quote. Leave a truck-width route to each cluster.
Book early
Large orders are confirmed by a specialist who checks inventory. For Charro Days, spring break and fall festival weekends in the Valley, start 4–6 weeks out.
Permits
Permitted events often specify restrooms, accessible units and hand-washing in their conditions. Share them with us so the order matches. See event rentals and the calculator.
